Palapa Depot started in 1998, as an off-shoot of our sister company – Tropical Shade Imports (est. 1986). We specialize in installations in the greater Las Vegas, San Diego, and Palm Desert areas and have been the southwestern centers for thatching materials and palapas for nearly 30 years now. Palapa Depot ships nation-wide or builds/installs locally (Southern NV and Southern CA) offering grass hut, palapa kits, and thatching materials directly to the public or commercial businesses.

***Please keep in mind that palapa fabrication is done by hand. All new installs (as of 4/24/13), in the greater Las Vegas area, have a lead time of approximately 7 weeks. All rethatches have a lead time of approximately 5 weeks. This may vary depending on the size of the structure you have or want to purchase. To schedule we require a 50% deposit to hold your install date. DIY KIT lead time is approximately 3 weeks to fabricate and materials must be paid in full prior to fabrication. We are currently not offering custom sized palapas — just our standard palapa sizes with upgrades available.***

For local customers in Nevada or Southern California, you also have the option of the services of our professional installers.
